Our Ancestral Roots

  • گوندل (Gondal) پنجاب کا ایک مشہور اور بہادر جٹ قبیلہ ہے۔ ان کا اصل مرکز پنجاب میں دریائے جہلم اور دریائے چناب کے درمیان کا علاقہ ہے۔ یہ علاقہ ان کے نام کی نسبت سے "گوندل بار" کہلاتا ہے۔

  • گوندل قوم کی تاریخ

  • آبائی پس منظر: گوندل قبیلہ خود کو راجپوت (چوہان راجپوت) کی نسل سے مانتا ہے۔

  • قبولِ اسلام: روایات کے مطابق، اس قبیلے کے بزرگوں نے مشہور صوفی بزرگ بابا فرید الدین گنج شکر کے ہاتھوں اسلام قبول کیا۔

  • علاقائی تاریخ: اسلام قبول کرنے کے بعد، یہ قبیلہ پنجاب کے وسطی علاقوں میں آ کر آباد ہو گیا اور زراعت کو اپنا پیشہ بنایا۔

  • اہم علاقے اور آبادی

  • گوندل قبیلے کی اکثریت پاکستان کے درج ذیل اضلاع میں آباد ہے:

  • ضلع سرگودھا (مرکزی علاقہ)

  • ضلع گجرات

  • ضلع منڈی بہاؤالدین

  • ضلع جہلم

  • ضلع راولپنڈی
